24-year-old heart transplant patient, Grant Martin, who was unable to attend his college graduation due to his hospitalization, was given a special graduation ceremony at Emory University Hospital. Columbus State University President Dr. Stuart Rayfield and other officials came to the hospital to present Martin with his Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Martin, born with a congenital heart defect, is awaiting a heart transplant.
