Five individuals from Westminster were arrested in connection with an alleged kidnapping and assault in Carroll County, Maryland on May 21. Dequan Tyheem Gaines, Brian Scott Johnson, Jordan Gabrielle Riley, Marc Anthony Rivera, and Sylena Marie Rivera face charges including kidnapping, second-degree assault, false imprisonment, and extortion. The victims, a man and woman, were found and treated for injuries.
