The Tampa Bay Rays placed outfielder Josh Lowe on the 10-day injured list with a right oblique strain, retroactive to May 23. Lowe, who has struggled with injuries since spring training, had a .240 batting average with two home runs in 14 games this season. In the corresponding move, the Rays reinstated right-hander Chris Devenski from the 15-day injured list after he missed a month due to right knee tendonitis.
