Rapper Metro Boomin donated $100,000 to five St. Louis nonprofit organizations supporting women's welfare in memory of his late mother, Leslie Joanne Wayne, a domestic violence victim. The donation was made in partnership with Rung for Women and Amazon Access, with each organization receiving $20,000. Boomin stated that his mother's resilience and dedication inspired him and he wanted to pay it forward by supporting women facing similar challenges.
