The Nishawbe-Aski Police Service and Ontario Provincial Police are jointly investigating the sudden death of an infant in medical distress in Poplar Hill First Nation. The infant was taken to a Winnipeg hospital, where they were pronounced dead. The cause of the infant's illness remains undisclosed, with multiple OPP units assisting the NAPS Crime Unit in the investigation.
