14 nesting rafts planned at Welsh Harp Reservoir to support declining common tern species.

The Canal & River Trust plans to build 14 new nesting rafts at the Welsh Harp Reservoir in NW London to support the common tern, a species in significant decline. The rafts will provide island habitats for the birds, helping to restore their numbers at the reservoir, a Site of Special Scientific Interest. The reservoir has recently been restored after maintenance work and litter clearance.
