A high-speed train narrowly missed a man who walked across railway tracks after climbing over a level crossing barrier in Oldbury, West Mids. CCTV footage showed the man, wearing a dark hoodie and carrying a drawstring bag, scaling the safety barriers and strolling across the tracks as a train approached. The train missed the man by just four seconds. Network Rail released the video as a warning, stating that it was one of eight recorded instances of level crossing misuse at that location since January.
