City of Newcastle invites tenders for the next stage of Bar Beach restoration. Following significant storm damage in April 2022, a staged program of works begins to repair the beach and Cooks Hill Surf Life Saving Club. The program aims to minimize disruptions and includes a vehicle access ramp, new stairs for pedestrians, and a wave deflector wall with walkway and handrail to protect the club and enhance access.
