Birmingham-Southern College's baseball team advances to the DIII World Series after winning their first Super Regional title since 2019. Despite the school's closure on May 31 due to financial difficulties, the team will represent the now-defunct institution in the Division III College World Series beginning May 31 in Eastlake, Ohio. The Panthers defeated #2 Denison 7-6, securing their spot in the championship.
