Australian photographer Rosemary Laing, known for her "flight research" series, passed away.

Renowned Australian photographer Rosemary Laing passed away after a brief illness. Known for her groundbreaking 2000 series "flight research" featuring a suspended bride in mountainous landscapes, her work was created with a professional stuntwoman in the Blue Mountains. Laing's death coincides with that of fellow artist and activist Destiny Deacon, credited with introducing the term "Blak" in Australia.
