A couple who survived a life-altering rollercoaster accident at Alton Towers in 2015 tied the knot this weekend, nine years after their first date at the theme park led to the traumatic incident. Leah Washington, 26, lost her leg and Joe Pugh, 27, suffered knee and finger damage during the Smiler rollercoaster crash. The couple, who rekindled their romance and got engaged in 2022, celebrated their wedding at the Woodlands Hotel in Leeds.
