3 carriages of an Abuja-bound train derailed near Jere community, Kaduna, one hour after departing Kaduna. Passengers were stranded, but security forces, including the police and army, arrived quickly to provide support. The Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau confirmed the incident and dispatched personnel to investigate the cause.
