Winnipeg Jets officially name Scott Arniel as fifth head coach in franchise history, succeeding Rick Bowness who announced his retirement. Arniel, 61, has been with the team as associate coach for two seasons and previously served as interim head coach for 25 games during Bowness' personal leaves. Arniel has coaching experience with teams such as Columbus Blue Jackets, New York Rangers, and Washington Capitals.
