A West Vancouver high school trio won the Canadian FIRA autonomous car challenge and could represent Canada in an international robotics competition this August. Alex Jando, Jadyn Mithani, and Yara Riahi, who are prospective engineers, won the championship at Simon Fraser University and are seeking sponsors to cover their $10,000 expenses for the international tournament in Brazil.
