University of Texas at Tyler (UT Tyler) radio station KVUT 99.7 FM will cease operations on May 24. The decision aims to reinvest in academic programming, providing more educational opportunities for students in the Department of Communication, and enhance their curriculum with cutting-edge technology and hands-on learning experiences. The student-run station has been operational since May 2021.
