Jesse James Rumson, known as "Sedition Panda" for wearing a panda costume during the January 6, 2021, US Capitol riot, has been convicted of assaulting a law enforcement officer and various disorderly conduct charges. Rumson opted for a bench trial and was found guilty on all eight counts by U.S. District Judge Carl Nichols. The Florida resident is scheduled to be sentenced in September.
