University of Montana introduces a brewing-based chemistry course in partnership with local breweries.

The University of Montana (UM) is offering a new scientific course on brewing beer, which teaches chemistry through brewing. The program has partnered with local breweries, Draught Works and Conflux Tap House, to provide hands-on experience in brewing techniques. Students in the course work alongside brewery staff to analyze and refine beer quality, focusing on characteristics such as color, taste, and foam.
