Qatar's Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has upgraded and inaugurated a 5-km expressway called Street 33 in the Industrial Area, increasing lanes from 3 to 4 in all directions, allowing 16,000 vehicles per hour. The project includes two new interchanges, improved water, electricity, and telecommunications systems, and upgraded sewage and rainwater drainage systems. Street 33 serves as a key link between the east and west of the Industrial Area.
