Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has praised Ireland's recent decision to recognise Palestine as an independent state. In a phone call with his Irish counterpart, Simon Harris, Shehbaz commended Ireland for sending a message of hope and solidarity to the suffering Palestinians. He also stated that the decision would encourage other countries to follow suit in promoting the Palestinian cause.
