2 people critically injured in water incident at Auckland's Newmarket Olympic Pools & Fitness Centre. Emergency services were called to the scene at 7:30 pm, where lifeguards performed CPR on the unconscious men. The two individuals were transported to Auckland Hospital in critical condition. A witness reported seeing the men at the bottom of the pool for an extended period before diving in to check on them.
