NASA plans to provide advanced training to Indian astronauts in preparation for a joint mission to the International Space Station (ISS) this year or shortly thereafter, according to US Envoy to India, Eric Garcetti. The announcement was made at the "US-India Commercial Space Conference: Unlocking Opportunities for US & Indian Space Startups" in Bengaluru. This joint mission between NASA and ISRO will involve sending Indian astronauts to the ISS with the goal of fostering collaboration and strengthening ties between the two countries in the field of space exploration.
