A motorcyclist died in Auburn after a collision with a Volkswagen Beetle at the intersection of South Main Street and Witham Road. The accident occurred at around 5:30 p.m. when the car attempted to pull onto South Main Street from Witham Road. Witnesses tried to save the rider but could not, and his identity remains undisclosed. The roads were closed temporarily for first responders but have since reopened.
