A fire at Indonesia's Balikpapan oil refinery in East Kalimantan province has been extinguished with no casualties reported. The fire, which broke out at 4 am local time, was at the crude distillation unit IV of the PT Pertamina-operated facility. Firefighters successfully controlled the situation by 7:30 am, and cooling efforts are now underway. The incident did not disrupt oil supply to consumers.
