Indiana enacts a "reverse transfer" law to award associate degrees to students with combined credits from state four-year schools and Ivy Tech/Vincennes University.
Indiana aims to increase the number of Hoosiers with college credentials. A new "reverse transfer" law enables students to combine credits earned at a state four-year school with previous ones from Ivy Tech or Vincennes University. Four-year college credits are transferred back, and an associate degree from Ivy Tech or Vincennes is awarded retroactively, benefiting those who attended and didn't complete a degree.
