Former NASA boss, retired US Air Force lieutenant general Larry D. James, arrives in Australia to boost the country's space race efforts. James will work at Melbourne's Monash University as a professor in Space Innovation and Industry, and provide strategic advice to Adelaide research consortium SmartSat. His 46-year career includes stints at the US Air Force and NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
