The FCTA distributed N3.7bn as statutory allocation to six area councils and other stakeholders in April 2024, a 47% decrease from March. The Abuja Municipal Area Council received the highest allocation of N373.96m, followed by Gwagwalada and Kuje. The FCT Minister of State, Dr Mariya Mahmoud, urged area council authorities to fully utilize the funds.
