Cambodian welding technician Mao Vanchhet is proud to work on China's Belt and Road-backed Mekong River bridge in northeast Cambodia, funded by China. Work on the large-scale bridge began in March 2023 and is expected to be completed by Shanghai Construction Group in September 2025. Vanchhet believes the bridge marks a historic milestone for Kratie, contributing to socioeconomic development in the province.
