51-year-old Robert Reed, a Newark resident, was found guilty of robbing a poker player after befriending him at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, where the victim won $20,000. Reed approached the victim for a ride to the bus station, then assaulted him with a glass wine bottle and stole his possessions. Reed was convicted of robbery, aggravated assault, theft, weapons charges.
