1-year-old Mateo Mendoza was found safe after an Amber Alert was issued due to his abduction by Matthew Stewart, who threatened harm to himself and the child. Stewart was driving a 2007 Silver Chevy Impala with a Wisconsin license plate (503-ZPT). The Madison Police Department can be contacted at 608-255-2345 for any information regarding the case.
