25-year-old Asnubil R. Escobar, a Florida bartender, was arrested for DUI after causing a fatal crash in Winter Springs. Escobar was driving nearly five times over the legal blood alcohol content limit and rushed to work, resulting in a fatal collision with Tiffany Alexander, a mother of three. Alexander's vehicle had her two younger children, aged 4 and 7, in the back seat when Escobar's vehicle, which had a 0.38 blood alcohol content (the legal limit is 0.08), struck hers after Escobar ran a red light. Escobar was arrested and charged with vehicular DUI homicide, DUI with property damage, DUI causing injury, and DUI with a blood alcohol of 0.08 or more.
