31-year-old Canadian woman rescued from a steep ridge in Death Valley National Park after spending a night alone following a planned departure from her day-long van tour. The woman left her tour group on May 10, telling others she was visiting for "spiritual reasons." After a fruitless search by park rangers, a California Highway Patrol helicopter hoisted her from the ridge to safety.
