Turkey's Minister of National Defence Yashar Guler revealed that an unarmed AKINCI UAV, with consent from Iranian officials, was used to detect a helicopter location in Iranian airspace. The UAV took off from Batman and shared the detected heat source with Iranian authorities, as reported by Azernews. Guler discussed the ongoing activities in a video conference meeting with commanders of domestic and cross-border units.
