Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced that his X social media platform, acquired for $44 billion in 2022, now has 600 million monthly active users (MAUs). X aims to be an "everything app" for content, digital payments, and features such as super chats for live content and AI Audiences for targeted users. Musk also mentioned potential charges for new unverified users posting content on the platform.
