A secondary school teacher has been found guilty of professional misconduct for forging the signatures of two colleagues and using a school stamp on a form to prove he completed required teaching practice. The fitness-to-teach inquiry recommended a one-month suspension from the Register of Teachers. The teacher admitted to the allegations, which were part of the Droichead induction process for newly qualified teachers.
