2 people died in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 270 at the I-55 interchange in south St. Louis County on Friday morning. The crash involved a delivery truck, and the interchange was closed for investigation. Northbound I-270 was closed at Theiss, near the South County Center where drivers merge from I-55 onto I-270. The Missouri Department of Transportation estimated the roads would be reopened in about three hours.
