Mumbai court sentences Parvez Tak, stepfather of actress Laila Khan, to death for the 2011 murder of Laila, her mother Selina, and four siblings at their Igatpuri farmhouse. Tak was found guilty of murder, destruction of evidence, and other offenses under the Indian Penal Code. The prosecution claimed that Tak killed Selina in an argument over properties, followed by the murders of Laila and her siblings.
