Demario Strickland, Rochester City School District's (RCSD) Deputy Superintendent of Teaching and Learning, has been appointed as interim superintendent, effective July 1. Strickland will take over from current Superintendent Carmine Peluso, who is leaving to become the Superintendent at the Churchville-Chili School District. The RCSD Board of Education made the decision following a search for a new school chief.
