Irish mother Mandy Kelly receives Taoiseach's support to repatriate her children from Egypt, amid complications due to Egypt not being a signatory to The Hague Convention.

Mandy Kelly, an Irish mother, has received support from Taoiseach Simon Harris in her efforts to repatriate her two children from Egypt. Kelly's estranged husband, an Egyptian national, allegedly refused to let the boys return to Ireland after a family vacation in Cairo in 2022. Egypt is not a signatory to The Hague Convention, complicating the process of securing the children's return. Harris has pledged his support in helping reunite Kelly with her sons.
