2 injured in Clairemont apartment fire: A fire erupted at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday in the 7700 block of Belden Street in Clairemont Mesa. The San Diego Fire-Rescue Department controlled the flames within 15 minutes, but the extent of the victims' injuries is unclear. One person was taken to the hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
