A house fire in Putnam County left one person dead and a firefighter injured on Thursday night. The fire department found the house heavily engulfed in flames and rescued the victim. The victim initially regained pulse but later succumbed to injuries. The cause of the fire and victim's identity are under investigation by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
