Former Hubei vice governor, Cao Guangjing, was sentenced to life in prison for accepting bribes worth over 216 million yuan and leaking inside information in Jiangsu, China. The court found that Cao abused his positions at China Three Gorges Corporation and Hubei province government between 2004 and 2022 to assist others in business contracts and operations, while profiting from inside information disclosure in 2021.
