The European Union's data protection board (EDPB) has said that OpenAI's ChatGPT chatbot is still not meeting data accuracy standards required for compliance with EU data rules. A task force at the EDPB stated that although measures taken to improve transparency have been beneficial, they are insufficient to meet the data accuracy principle. The joint investigations by national privacy watchdogs in some EU member states are ongoing.
