ECC, chaired by Finance Minister, approved funds for Chinese compensation, Roosevelt Hotel, Power Division, hydropower, and Pakistan Steel Mills.
The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC), chaired by Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, has approved funds allocation for various projects. This includes $2.5M in compensation to families of Chinese citizens killed in the Dasu Hydro Project attack, $80M for Roosevelt Hotel operational expenses, and Rs 2.21bn for Power Division development and settling Sui Southern dues. The ECC also approved Rs 70.48bn for hydropower projects and released funds to pay gas bills of Pakistan Steel Mills.
