119 Boko Haram terrorists, including commander Adamu Mohammed, surrendered to MNJTF troops in Borno, Nigeria, during Operation Lake Sanity II.

Boko Haram commander Adamu Mohammed and five other militants surrendered to the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) troops in Borno, Nigeria on May 23. They handed over weapons and ammunition, increasing the total number of terrorists who have surrendered during Operation Lake Sanity II to 119. The MNJTF encourages further surrenders and commitment to a peaceful, secure environment in the Lake Chad Basin region.
