AEW wrestler Kenny Omega has undergone surgery for diverticulitis on May 16th in New York, according to Fightful Select. Omega is expected to face a lengthy recovery and there are currently no creative plans in place for him. The former AEW World Champion has been diagnosed with diverticulitis since mid-December and made a return to TV on May 1st, where he was attacked by The Elite.
