Zamfara State Governor announces commencement of N30,000 minimum wage payment from June.
Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, announced his government will commence paying the new minimum wage of N30,000 from June, aiming to improve workers' welfare. The minimum wage previously stood at N7,000. Governor Lawal highlighted his administration's achievements in paying withheld salaries, leave grants, and other bonuses, as well as plans to improve civil service efficiency and ensure timely retirement benefit payments.
