65-year-old Mexican coach Javier Aguirre will not continue as Mallorca's coach next season, after joining the La Liga team in 2021-22 season when they were in relegation zone. Aguirre saved them from relegation, led the team to mid-table finish, and took them to Copa del Rey final. Despite these achievements, Mallorca struggled in La Liga this season and only secured their survival last weekend.
