Chinese tech giant Tencent invests $13.9M in 13 start-ups for carbon capture & removal technologies via its CarbonX program. The goal is to support climate-friendly solutions beyond renewable energy & electric vehicles, aiming for carbon neutrality in its operations & supply chain by 2030. The program supports the Paris Agreement targets, including a 45% emission reduction by 2030 and net-zero emissions by 2050.
