South Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT announced its LEO satellite communications project, known as South Korea's Starlink, has passed a preliminary feasibility study and will begin officially in 2022. The 320 billion won ($234.3 million) project aims to launch two LEO satellites using 6G technology by 2030. The ministry plans to create a demonstration LEO satellite communications system network to help South Korean companies develop core technologies and expand their global business.
