Social media platform Bluesky has introduced a new feature, Direct Messages (DMs), allowing private one-to-one messaging. Users can currently send and receive text-based messages from those they follow, but settings can be adjusted to allow messages from all Bluesky users or none at all. Bluesky plans to expand DM features by adding images, group messaging, and end-to-end encryption in the future.
